I am a graphic design student focusing on graphic design, illustration, and UX design. I spent over 25 years in healthcare and an additional three years in the office of a local metal fabrication business where I wore many hats. From this background, I bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability and empathy. Working as a nurse taught me how important communication, advocacy, and human connection can be and those are skills and perspectives that carry over into the way I approach design thinking.

Creativity and storytelling have always been central to who I am. Whether I’m sketching, painting, capturing a moment with photography, or working on a design project, I enjoy creating visuals that evoke emotion and connect people to the story. I like to explore unique perspectives and find beauty in the imperfect or unconventional. I have always looked at the world curious about the story hidden inside people, places, and objects waiting to be noticed and shared. I’m also someone who genuinely enjoys helping others bring ideas to life. I believe it’s never too late to pursue the things you truly want to do.

I am a mostly self-taught artist. I love to read and collect books as avidly as I collect art supplies. I am a science geek who never tires of learning new things, a gamer, and animal lover. I believe in saving the planet one thrifted item at a time. I am a DIY-er that is convinced I could survive a zombie apocalypse. My tastes in art, music and shows are eclectic. I just like to keep my algorithm guessing.
